Process Engineer – Stantec
At Stantec, we deliver impactful infrastructure and environmental projects across Ireland. As a Process Engineer, you will work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to design and deliver water treatment solutions.
Responsibilities
• Design and detailed design of treatment systems, carrying out process calculations, mass balances, and performance assessments.
• Select and specify treatment processes and equipment (coagulation/flocculation, filtration, membrane systems, disinfection, and sludge handling) and provide technical oversight throughout design, construction, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with engineers, external stakeholders, review contractor and vendor submissions, and support project managers with technical input on risk, cost, and programme.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or process engineering (or related discipline).
• Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing chartership (or equivalent professional registration).
• Proven experience designing water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, especially with Uisce Éireann or other water utilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of water engineering principles, standards, regulations, and best practice.

NPD Process Development Engineer – TE Connectivity
The Process Development Engineer role is part of the New Product Development Department, developing processes and technologies for next‑generation medical device products.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Manage new components through product lifecycle from concept into volume manufacturing.
Identify and select product materials, assembly methods, and define process settings.
Partner with customers, suppliers, vendors, and internal cross‑functional teams to deliver project goals.
Work closely with Project Lead and Prototype group to develop, build, and test product prototypes.
Explore and assess new technologies and processes to enable improvements in product performance, cost, and reliability.
Follow written and oral instructions with minimum supervision.
Strong technical ability with broad and deep knowledge of engineering principles.
Strong work ethic, creative problem solving, and initiative.
Excellent writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of technical and statistical tools such as 3D CAD, Minitab, and design of experiments is an advantage.
Experience/knowledge in development of test methods and product testing is an advantage.
Qualifications
Level 8 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum one year industry experience in a medical device R&D or manufacturing environment.
