We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in Kerry.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & QualityPromote and uphold the company's Safety Statement and HSQE management systems.Ensure compliance with statutory HSE requirements and industry standards.Prepare and deliver method statements, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.Act as site safety lead when the Project Manager/Site Agent is absent.Oversee quality control in line with company procedures, inspection and test plans, and client specifications.Site & Technical ManagementInterpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to guide site works.Carry out setting out, leveling, and surveying in accordance with design requirements.Manage day-to-day site activities, including supervision of direct labor and subcontractors.Liaise with consultants, suppliers, utility providers, and statutory authorities to resolve technical issues.Prepare daily site diaries, technical reports, and as-built drawings.Support procurement processes by raising requisitions and ensuring purchase orders meet requirements.Planning & DeliveryAssist in the preparation of construction programs and monitor progress against deadlines.Coordinate with foremen to plan upcoming works and allocate resources effectively.Contribute to budget preparation and track costs throughout the project lifecycle.Carry out post-construction reviews to support continuous improvement.Understand contract obligations and manage the impact of variations or delays on program and cost.About YouMaster's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.4–5 years' experience in a setting-out/site engineer role on civil or utilities projects.Knowledge of water/wastewater infrastructure (advantageous).Member of a relevant professional institution (preferred).Strong knowledge of Irish/UK construction standards and HSE legislation.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.Full clean Irish/UK/EU driving license.Eligible to work in Ireland (valid work permit, Stamp 4 visa, or EU citizenship).Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €43,124.85-€72,558.12 per yearWork Location: In person
