During the training period and embedding with the team and their customers, this role will be on site with a degree of flexibility when needed. Once settled, a hybrid model is offered (2/3 days in the office and the rest from home).
Role
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the expanding team. The role involves developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decision-making within financial services organizations. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights. Strong technical skills in data analysis and BI tools are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyse data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
* Report and Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
* Data Modelling: Design and maintain data models to support efficient reporting and analysis.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work with stakeholders to understand needs, translate requirements into technical specs, and present findings to diverse audiences.
* Problem Solving: Identify opportunities for improvement and provide data-driven solutions to business challenges.
* Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within the BI environment.
* Staying Updated: Keep abreast of new technologies and trends in the BI landscape.
Skills Required
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools; experience with ETL, data warehousing, SQL, and cloud platforms such as Azure.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
* Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex business problems using data analysis.
* Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
