A vacancy for a part time Member Service Representative/Teller has arisen in Wexford Credit Union on a 12-month contract.
This is an entry level position working as part of a larger team.
This role will report directly to the Member Services Manager of the credit union based in the heart of Wexford town.
This is a part time role with a requirement to work a minimum of 22.5 hours per week including every Saturday.
The successful candidate will be employed primarily as Member Service Representative/Teller with the following responsibilities; Dealing with members concerning lodgements and withdrawals Dealing with members concerning loans applications and disbursements Dealing with potential members and existing members concerning joining and maintaining membership records Maintaining members current accounts.
Balancing Cash on a daily basis Dealing with members queries Attending training programs as required Be aware and comply with all GDPR, Health & Safety, anti-money laundering and bank note recycling procedures as required by the credit union Directing members to other credit union personnel as required Sending emails and posting correspondence to members Data input as required Answering the telephone and directing incoming calls to other credit union personnel as required Keeping members passbooks up to date Filing and other general administrative duties.
In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time.
Requirements: Relevant 3rd level qualification is desirable.
Customer focused with a proven track record delivering exemplary member service Experience within a financial regulated environment with EPA or QFA qualifications, working towards or planning to work towards same are essential.
