Client Visit Scenario
Your day begins with a visit to a client who has recently felt isolated and emotionally vulnerable due to limited mobility and the recent loss of a spouse. You greet them with a gentle, caring approach.
After initial conversation, you assist with their morning routine, including helping them out of bed, personal hygiene, continence care, dressing, and medication prompts. Throughout, you maintain a caring, respectful approach, honoring their privacy and independence.
You also ensure the living environment is safe and comfortable, handling light housekeeping tasks to keep their home secure.
Before leaving, you reassure them about your next visit, leaving them feeling cared for both physically and emotionally. You then proceed to your next client visit.
Example Schedules
* Schedule 1: Mon-Wed - 5 hours/day, Sat & Sun - 9 hours/day (33 hrs/week)
* Schedule 2: Tues, Thurs, Sun - 6 hours/day (18 hrs/week)
* Schedule 3: Tues - 4 hours/day, every second Sat & Sun - 10 hrs/day (14 hrs/week over 2 weeks)
