**Job Opportunity: Accommodation Supervisor**

A friendly and supportive home care service is also provided for our more independent and self-reliant clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise Accommodation Staff and ensure duties are performed to required standards.
* Oversee household works, ensuring completion to an acceptable standard.
* Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all areas, focusing on detail.
* Ensure housekeeping activities are documented for inspection.
* Monitor stock control, audits, and spot-check supplies; generate POs as needed.
* Supervise requisitioning, storage, and maintenance of cleaning supplies.
* Assign daily tasks, monitor performance via spot checks, and provide feedback.
* Perform audits and inspections weekly and report to the Accommodation Manager.
* Ensure vacant rooms are ready for viewing/admission and cleaned when necessary.
* Inspect furniture, appliances, and equipment, reporting needed replacements.
* Ensure staff compliance with policies on attendance, performance, and health & safety.
* Undertake emergency household duties as needed.
* Report maintenance issues to the maintenance team immediately.
* Implement and manage a 'green policy.' Ensure infection control and laundry guidelines are followed.
* Supervise laundry processes, including labelling and handling personal items.
* Monitor linen and towel quality and maintain stock levels.
* Conduct daily staff huddles and ensure roster coverage.
* Ensure staff present well with proper uniforms and hygiene.
* Maintain high visibility and presence on the floor.
* Induct and train new staff, ensuring competency with machinery and chemicals.
* Identify training needs and plan development with HR and the Accommodation Manager.
* Monitor staff attendance, sickness, and incidents; take action as needed with Accommodation Manager and HR Department.
* Prepare performance reports for new staff, including reviews and improvement plans.
* Deputise for the Accommodation Manager when required.
* Be available for emergencies.
Requirements:
* Previous nursing home/hospitality experience an advantage but not required.
* The desire to be part of a team.
* Willingness to work hard and be actively involved in the business.
* Good attitude and warm personality.
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
