Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our HR function, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on day-to-day employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional HR support to senior management in delivering HR services across the business.
* Collaborate closely with operational managers to advise and assist on employee matters and day-to-day HR queries.
* Ensure full compliance with HR policies and procedures, including accurate maintenance of employee records and documentation.
* Manage and support all aspects of employee relations in accordance with company policies, employment legislation, and best practice.
* Lead on case management involving disciplinaries, grievances, performance issues, absence management, and complaints relating to bullying and harassment.
* Conduct thorough and confidential investigations into complex HR issues, applying critical thinking to reach fair and evidence-based conclusions.
* Provide coaching and guidance to line managers, helping them to manage teams effectively and confidently handle HR matters.
* Support the management of attendance and absence procedures across the business.
* Assist in internal and external audit preparation and execution where required.
* Contribute to the delivery of HR transactional processes and the preparation of data and analytics for senior management reporting.
* Assist with the implementation of HR policies and the rollout of training needs analyses (TNAs) across relevant business areas.
* Manage HR data and maintain accurate reporting on HR metrics.
* Support the internal training function and participate in wider HR projects and initiatives as they arise.
Requirements:
* Candidates should hold a third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
* CIPD qualification or working towards it is desirable.
* At least 3 years experience in a similar HR role with a strong focus on employee relations.
* Solid knowledge of Irish employment law, conflict resolution, and WRC processes.
* Proven experience managing ER cases and advising at all levels of the organisation.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to handle confidential information with discretion and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
