Job Summary:
This is a key position that requires a proactive and results-driven individual to promote a positive Health & Safety culture across the organisation and client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring legislative compliance, providing support to employees, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain an effective Health & Safety Management System across all sites, employees, and customers.
* Provide regular H&S training and inductions to employees.
* Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and provide recommendations for mitigation measures.
* Advise management on legislative H& Safety obligations and internal standards.
* Foster collaboration with employees, customers, and suppliers on Health & Safety matters.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a H&S role within operations, contracting, or construction contexts.
* Full driving license and ability to travel to multiple sites.
Desired Skills & Certifications:
* Proficiency in ISO 45001 frameworks.
* Experience with H&S legislation and standards.
* Capability to deliver training sessions and manage safety documentation.
* Ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
