This role will be responsible for driving the design, strategy, and implementation of cutting-edgeEnd-User Computing (EUC)andModern Workplacesolutions.The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across virtual desktop platforms, M365 technologies, and enterprise-scale EUC environments, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organisation's digital workspace strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute as a core member of the Infrastructure Architecture team, developing and enforcing architecture standards focused on EUC and Modern Workplace technologies within a global, hybrid, multi-cloud environment.Lead strategic direction for enterprise-grade, scalable, secure, and high-performing Modern Workplace platforms.Oversee the lifecycle management and long-term strategy of multiple Citrix environments (both application and desktop).Design and implement hybrid and cloud desktop solutions leveraging Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Citrix, and Nutanix VDI.Collaborate cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration, compliance, and smooth operational hand-off.Develop strategies for deployment, performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery across EUC platforms.Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies within Modern Workplace and EUC ecosystems.Participate in enterprise architecture review and design processes, offering domain-specific guidance during application onboarding.Qualifications & ExperienceStrong hands-on expertise with EUC technologies, including:Citrix virtual applications/desktopsFSLogix profile containersNutanixAzure Virtual DesktopWindows 365Solid understanding of Microsoft on-prem and cloud technologies, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, M365, Intune, and Autopilot.Knowledge of remote access and security technologies such as AOVPN, Zscaler, MDM/MAM, Conditional Access, and firewall fundamentals.Familiarity with EUC monitoring and management tooling such as SCCM, SCOM, Logic Monitor, and Tanium.Excellent analytical, documentation, and decision-making skills.Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership on architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk considerations.Previous experience working as an EUC or Modern Workplace Solutions Architect in a large enterprise environment is preferred.
