Tendering Manager required by our client, a long-established, fast-growing and leading company in the provision sustainability solutions in both domestic and commercial buildings. This new role, is key in the future growth of the company which has ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the MD, theOverall Purpose of the roleof the Tendering Manager will be to oversee the entire Tender process from identifying opportunities to submitting proposals. They are specifically responsible for: Developing Tender strategies to win new business Managing the Tender budget Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders Ensuring compliance with all tender requirements, industry standards and legal requirements Preparation and Submission of Tender Proposal Managing the handover process to project teams upon successful award. Key Roles & Responsibilities will include: Identifying and evaluation tender opportunities Develop, Implement and manage tender strategies to win new business, including: Analysing Requirements, Determining Pricing Tailoring proposal to specific client needs Preparing and Submitting the Tenders - The Tendering Manager prepares comprehensive and compelling proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and commercial terms Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders: The Tendering Manager will work closely with internal teams (e.g., Project Managers, Operations, Finance) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, suppliers, subcontractors) to gather information, clarify requirements, and manage the Tender process Managing the Tender budget and timeline. The Tendering Manager ensures the Tender Process stays within budget and meets Tender submission deadlines. Communication. The Tendering Manager is responsible for Communication flows: Negotiating contract terms: communicating with clients to finalise terms and conditions Handover to project teams: Upon successful Tender submission and contract award, the Tendering Manager facilitates the handover to the project team. Developing and maintaining relationships: The Tendering Manager will build and maintain relationships with clients Ensuring compliance: The Tendering Manager will ensure that all tender proposals adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Monitoring and reporting: Upon successful award the Tendering Manager will track the progress of the Contract Completion, report on progress, potential risks, and performance metrics to senior management. Role will suit: Degree qualified min in Quantity Surveying or similar Min of 5+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying/Estimating role Min of 5+ years experience in tenders preparation and submissions Competent in assessing and evaluating tender requirements High level of competency in preparation and pricing Strong experience in negotiation of contract terms Proven track record working on tenders of all values, small to very large € values High level of accuracy and attention to detail a must. Strong communication skills a must. An ability to develop good relationships with both clients and colleagues Strong computer skills a must Fluency in English both written & oral essential.
