Our client is seeking a Finance Administrator to join a busy and multi-functional finance team based in Naas. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and solid finance knowledge to contribute to a fast-paced and growing organisation.
Responsibilities
* Support a wide variety of finance tasks, including VAT queries, regulatory reporting, and month-end/year-end financial close processes
* Reconcile supplier turnover with the general ledger to ensure accurate calculation of customer rebates
* Post rebate journals to customer accounts on a monthly basis
* Liaise with a nationwide network of member companies to resolve queries regarding rebates and supplier trading terms
* Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit
* Generate monthly customer purchase reports
* Work closely with senior management to assist with general finance queries and project-based work
Qualifications
* Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Previous accounts or finance experience; IATI qualification or part-qualified accountant desirable
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
