Administrator/ Accounts Administrator – 6 month contract – Oranmore Co Galway
Reports to: Research Funding Manager
Responsibilities
Check report and receipts received, then process purchase orders and payment requests.
Assist with preparation of reports
Request payments to evaluators for reviewing grant applications.
Request submission of technical and financial reports.
Update our research grant management portal.
Draft press releases and social media articles.
Assist with data compilation for reporting on the MI research grants funded.
Any other related duties appropriate to the temporary support role and salary point.
Requirements
Previous demonstrated relevant experience working with financial reporting or funding bring the ability to meet the duties detailed in early course
Familiarity with Budgets and Budgetary Management.
Strong IT skills using Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Word.
Numerate with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Professional communication skills, and ability to deal with persons in differing roles (e.g. academic staff and students).
Able to take instruction and work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to balance multiple deadlines and ensure delivery of responsibilities.
