SHEQ Manager
Job Location: Cork

Inform3 are recruiting for a SHEQ for a busy civil contractors based in Cork working on Irish Water projects.
The SHEQ Manager will responsible for the management and maintenance of the companies ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System; ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System & ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
SHEQ Manager Job Role:
- Ensuring that the Management and Environmental Management System conforms to the requirements of ISO9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015
- Setting the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of HS&E procedures, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations
- Reporting on the performance of the Quality and Environmental Management System and on opportunities for improvement, in particular to Top Management.
- Control of Document Information
- Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Health & Safety and Environmental Management system,
- Customer focus throughout the organisation
- Internal Auditing within company
- Implementing and maintaining the Health & Safety and Environmental Management System,
- Ensuring that the integrity of the company's Quality Management System is maintained when changes to the Quality Management System are planned and implemented
SHEQ Job Specification:
- Min. Level 8 Qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety
- Min. Certificate Level in Environmental Management,
- IOSH Membership,
- 5 years + experience
- Previous experience in the civil engineering industry a preference,
- Valid Safe Pass and/or SMSTS card holder,
- Experience of co-ordinating Health and Safety,
- ISO Quality Standards,
- Internal Auditing Experience,
- Conducting risk assessments and corresponding corrective action plans,
- High level of administrative / IT Skills
- Willingness to travel
