The Responsible AI & Privacy Manager will support the creation of a culture of responsible AI governance and privacy compliance, assisting in the implementation of the Group's RAI governance framework and Privacy policies in alignment with the EU AI Act and Privacy regulations.
The Manager will work closely with the DP & Responsible AI Senior Manager in providing operational & Governance support for RAI governance and privacy compliance. The role focuses on day-to-day implementation, monitoring, and reporting activities
What you'll do
* Assisting in upholding and applying the Group's RAI policies and minimum standards in accordance with EU AI Act requirements and privacy compliance efforts throughout Flutter Functions.
* Taking responsibility for RAI risk assessments under the EU AI Act involves conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects and systems. It ensures privacy-by-design principles are applied in these new systems and processes.
* Handling the operational scope related to GDPR and EU AI Act requirements, such as DSR requests, breach management, and other regulatory obligations.
* Maintaining RAI system inventories, risk classification records, documentation of processing activities, and privacy compliance metrics for Flutter Functions departments.
* Overseeing adherence to RAI governance controls and privacy compliance controls, providing reports on key risk indicators, and keeping privacy documentation accurate.
* Supporting training and awareness initiatives for RAI practices and privacy adherence programs to foster a culture of compliance and ethical AI use.
* Developing coordinated AI and privacy operational approaches to streamline compliance processes and improve overall efficiency.
* Leading regulatory reporting efforts and collaborator communications, ensuring transparency and adherence to legal requirements.
* Contributing to policy development and guideline sharing to continuously improve our compliance frameworks.
* Supporting any other duties as required by the Privacy and RAI Senior Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a dedication to collaboration.
What you'll need
* Educated to degree level in technology, law, privacy, or a related field.
* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in AI governance, privacy compliance, technology risk, or regulatory compliance.
* Knowledge of EU AI Act requirements and GDPR/privacy regulations.
* Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
* Basic understanding of AI systems, machine learning, and data processing activities.
* Knowledge of privacy-by-design principles and data protection guidelines.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in technology environments.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Competence to function successfully in lively, swiftly evolving surroundings.
* AI governance or privacy certification (e.g., IAPP certifications, ISO/IEC is preferred.
* Experience in gaming, fintech, or regulated industries is a plus.
* Knowledge of additional regulatory frameworks (e.g., consumer protection, financial services) is advantageous.
* Experience with compliance monitoring tools and systems.
