Job Description
As a Communications Senior Executive, you will play a strategic role in shaping SINDA’s voice, brand presence, and outreach. This position requires strong analytical abilities, excellent writing skills, media management experience, and project leadership capabilities. You will conceptualise and oversee impactful communication strategies that resonate with diverse audiences, in support of organisational goals.
Responsibilities
Shape Strategic Communications and Media Relations
Craft impactful speeches, articles, and media releases to position the organisation as a thought leader
Conceptualise newsworthy story angles and collaborate with media professionals to maximise positive media coverage
Track and analyse media mentions to evaluate communications impact and inform future strategies
Drive Brand Storytelling and Campaigns
Lead the development of integrated communications and marketing campaigns, aligned with organisational goals
Develop compelling brand narratives that highlight stakeholder voices and community impact
Identify key channels and platforms to strengthen outreach and engagement with target audiences
Oversee Publications and Collateral Development
Manage the end-to-end production of flagship publications such as annual reports and newsletters
Undertake editorial process, including proofreading and fact‑checking to ensure content accuracy
Provide editorial direction to maintain, clarity, consistency, and brand voice
Coordinate with internal divisions to gather information and align messaging
Strengthen Brand Identity and Outreach
Oversee the use of visual branding materials and ensure compliance with brand guidelines
Craft department‑level SOPs to maintain brand consistency across all communications
Guide team members in producing content that aligns with organisational identity
Recommend improvements and initiatives to enhance brand recognition and visibility across platforms
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in mass communications/journalism/media communications or related fields
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, PR, or media management
Strong knowledge of local media industry, with an established media network
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in media monitoring software
Good aesthetic sense and ability to produce content on demand
Familiarity with design tools (Canva/Adobe Suite) and publication production is beneficial
Intermediate understanding of SEO and SEM
Resilience and commitment to manage long‑term projects
Willingness to work on weekday evenings, weekends and in outdoor settings, when required (will be compensated with time off)
Able to participate in SINDA-wide events, when required (will be compensated with time off/Off‑in‑Lieu)
This is a 2-year contract position, convertible to a permanent role subject to performance and divisional requirements.
