Project Leader Role Overview

The Project Leader will oversee the execution of complex projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget while managing risks and stakeholder expectations.

* Develop project guidelines, allocate tasks, and motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all objectives and milestones.
* Provide performance feedback regarding project progress.
* Coordinate project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
* Evaluate and manage project risks, identifying opportunities and pursuing them.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably in the energy sector, and excellent communication and leadership skills. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required, as well as suitable relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management: Develop project guidelines, allocate tasks, and motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all objectives and milestones.
2. Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
3. Project Execution and Control: Ensure the project follows best practices and policies. Monitor and control project progress and resource utilization.
4. Contract, Claims, and Procurement Management: Consistently apply contract and claims management in accordance with policies and contractual agreements. Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
5. Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
6. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure the project adheres to and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
