Overview
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. The position is in the Bridewell coffee shop and heritage Centre in Tarbert. The successful candidate will be required to work in the Coffee Shop, carry out tours of the Courthouse when required and perform additional duties as required by the CE Scheme Supervisor. Full on-the-job training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to complete courses and additional training that may interest you as full funding is available. You will be working as part of a team and hours of work are flexible to suit you and the other team members; weekend work will be required.
