        Support Professional
The role of a Support Professional is to provide practical assistance and support to individuals engaged with our organisation. This involves helping clients find and secure suitable accommodation, as well as supporting them in addressing their health and care needs.
 * Assist clients in finding and moving into housing, including long-term homes, and support them in settling into their communities.
 * Support clients in accessing local services such as healthcare, welfare, training, education, and employment opportunities.
 * Provide clients with practical help and general support.
 * Help clients connect with housing, health, welfare, education, training, and leisure services to become part of the community.
 * Build trust with clients and manage problems calmly and fairly, adhering to our organisational policies.
 * Manage difficult situations sensitively and according to our rules and guidelines.
 * Work in line with the National Quality Standards Framework (NQSF) for homeless services.
 * Always follow our Child Protection Policy and the Children First Guidelines.
 * A minimum of two years' experience working with vulnerable communities.
 * A recognised third-level qualification (minimum level 8) in social care or a related field, or CORU-registered social care worker.
 * A full clean driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
 * An understanding of homelessness and the complex needs of homeless families.
