* Data Protection and Compliance:
o Data Breach Management: Direct and oversee the investigation and reporting process for data breaches.
o Regulatory Engagement: Liaise with regulatory bodies during investigations and enquiries.
o Project Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards throughout project development and implementation.
o Marketing and Service Compliance Review: Evaluate marketing and service communications for compliance with data protection regulations.
o Authentication Process Approval: Collaborate with fraud teams to review and approve customer authentication processes.
* Regulation:
o Regulatory Advisory: Provide expert guidance on consumer and communications regulatory matters.
o Government Liaison Unit: Support the government liaison unit in its functions.
o Commercial Strategy Compliance: Offer timely regulatory advice to enable the delivery of business strategies in a compliant manner.
o Compliance Advocacy: Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, develop internal education programs, and contribute to policies and procedures.
o Proactive Business Support: Assist with consumer, data protection, and advertising standards compliance through project participation, customer proposition development, and supplier management.
