Our work culture includes a dynamic mix of professionals, with a diversity of skills and expertise.Reporting to a shift supervisor, you will qualify and perform the operating responsibilities and layout within a specified unit of the refinery.Minimum Requirements:Experience and Education: Two or more years of process industry experienceCollege diploma in Chemical Production and Power Engineering TechnologistCompleted 3rd Class, or 2nd Class ticket would be preferredPossess a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordAttach your TSSA operating tickets with your application in order to be consideredStrong analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skillsAbility to work and communicate in a team environment, with strong verbal, written and communication skillsKey Accountabilities:Perform all operational functions according to St. Clair Ethanol EH&S standards and Standard Operating procedures (SOP's)Work on a crew covering a qualified post within an operating unitOperate the process equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to established practices, procedures and operating guidelinesPerform preventative maintenance and trouble-shooting to maintain process equipmentMonitor the operation and equipment for deviationsMonitor and adjust equipment and process variables to maintain a safe and environmentally sound operation and to ensure product qualityActively participate in the CCA program on siteMechanical aptitude to allow hands-on operation of plant equipmentLocation and other Key Details:You will work out of our Ethanol facility in Ontario, located at 535 Rokeby Line, Mooretown, ONThe position will be on a rotational shift schedule to support 24/7 operations of the facilityYou may be required to work overtime to support operational needsThis position is safety sensitiveThe position may require some physical work such as lifting, using ladders, working on elevated work sites and working outdoorsWhy Suncor?
