Key Responsibilities:
* To empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities by providing support and resources as needed.
* To develop and implement personalized plans to help service users achieve their goals, working closely with them to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
* To build strong relationships with community partners to promote active citizenship and inclusive practices, fostering a culture of respect and understanding.
* To provide safe and reliable transportation for service users to access community resources and activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
* To perform key duties, including administration, advocacy, and liaison with families and healthcare professionals, always maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements:
* A relevant QQI qualification (minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent) is required, demonstrating expertise in supporting individuals with disabilities.
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field is highly valued, showcasing your ability to adapt and respond to diverse needs.
* You must be over 18 years old and possess a full clean manual driving license, with access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes.
* Excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential, enabling effective communication with service users and colleagues alike.
