Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused sales assistant to join our team in a pharmacy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities by engaging with customers about OTC products, offering a high-quality sales service and tailoring the right product for each individual.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing advice and help to customers in OTC sales and referring them to trained personnel when required.
* Maintaining stock levels and pricing, ensuring optimum availability of products.
* Operating electronic point of sale systems for sales, stock adjustments and interbranch transfers.
* Receiving orders and updating new products on the till system.
* Handling paperwork such as invoices and statements.
* Cleaning of stock, shop fittings, floor and facilities on a daily or weekly basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a strong ability to work on their own initiative. Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences is essential, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
