The role balances operational delivery with process enhancement, ensuring changes are well-documented and risk assessed.Team BackgroundThis role sits within our Service Management team and reports to our Service Delivery Manager.This team oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of core IT Services, managing key processes such as Major Incident, Problem, and Change management, while also strengthening stakeholder relationships and driving service excellence.More specific responsibilities will include:Review and assess change/release tickets, ensuring thorough planning and risk evaluation.Communicate business-impacting changes and coordinate post-change testing.Chair CAB meetings and ensure effective risk/impact discussions.Collaborate with leadership on strategic improvements in governance, reporting, and compliance.Support reporting and data analysis for compliance.Provide backup support for Problem Management (not a core requirement)What you'll need to be successful on the role:5+ years in IT Change Management with strong ITIL experience.Proven success in customer-facing roles and stakeholder communication.Hands-on experience with ITIL change processes.Certifications: ITIL v4, Prince2, or PMP are advantageous.Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA
