At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for Mechanical Supervisors to work on site in Cork.
Day-to-day responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of various subcontractors, foremen and chargehands
Establish and adjust work timelines to meet the construction schedule for the project
Take responsibility for health and safety on site and lead by example
Organise workers, plant, machinery and materials
Supervise construction activities
Coordinate with all other crafts working on a job site to ensure smooth transitions
Identify materials and equipment that may be required
Ensure construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specifications
Conduct quality-control inspections on project sites
Ensure that contractor activities are properly coordinated
Ensure that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards
Analyse and quickly resolve any work problems that may arise, ensuring that all deficiencies on any given project are corrected in a timely manner
Train employees and apprentices, providing them with relevant work experience
Maintain detailed and accurate site reports
Communicate project progress to key stakeholders, clients, architects and engineers

5+ years industrial experience in a supervisor role
