Job Title:
A Quantity Surveyor is required to coordinate tender and pre-contract activities, including reviewing project documentation, taking off projects, and presenting tender bids.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. They will also have strong Microsoft Office package skills and knowledge, as well as strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for abstracting information into subcontract and material packages, selecting subcontract and material suppliers, and ensuring tendering processes are fully implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enter pricing documents onto the estimating system
* Ratify up pricing documents
* Answer queries from subcontractors/suppliers
* Liaise with clients during the tender process
* Identify scope for design alternatives and value engineering
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, with a standard Monday to Thursday schedule of 8:30am-5pm and Fridays from 8:30am-4pm.
This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of €60K-€70K negotiable dependent on experience, with a company benefit package included.
