Role : Business Development Executive Department: Commercial Reports to : Commercial Manager Location: Unit 16, The Hub Logistics Park, Bracetown, Dublin 15 Role Overview Samsic Facility is seeking a commercially driven and proactive Business Development Executive to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in Facilities Management, Cleaning, or Security services to generate leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and drive business growth across Ireland.
As a Business Development Executive, you will focus on high-quality lead generation, early-stage opportunity development, and building lasting relationships with prospective clients.
You will leverage your understanding of FM operating models, including TFM, IFM, and Property Management, to identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Generate leads through research, networking, outbound activity, and market intelligence Identify and qualify new business opportunities within FM, Cleaning, and Security services Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with monthly and quarterly targets Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to progress opportunities through the sales cycle Engage prospective clients to understand operational needs, service challenges, and decision drivers Prepare and deliver tailored capability presentations, proposals, and introductory materials Maintain accurate CRM records of all activity, interactions, and opportunity stages Produce monthly reports on outreach, qualified opportunities, and business secured Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging market opportunities Work with internal teams (operations, mobilisation, marketing) to align service delivery with client needs Qualifications Experience Proven experience in FM, Cleaning, or Security services, ideally in business development, operations, or commercial roles Strong understanding of FM delivery models: TFM, IFM, Bundled Services, Property Management Track record in lead generation, pipeline development, or early-stage sales activity Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Willingness to travel nationwide as required Preferred Skills Experience in B2B service-based selling or solution-led engagement Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pipeline and performance data Knowledge of tendering processes, pre-qualification requirements, and FM procurement cycles Samsic Facility is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
