Job Title: Mechanical Project Supervisor
This is a highly challenging and rewarding role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of contractors on site, ensuring they are working safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
As a mechanical project supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of contractor quality plans, carrying out daily inspections of works to ensure required standards are achieved, and witnessing tests or inspections as required under the inspection and test plan. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other construction management team (CMT) personnel to ensure interfaces between contractors are well-coordinated and all stakeholders are fully informed.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the day-to-day site activities of contractors to ensure they complete their contracts in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost and documentation.
- Ensuring that all risks have been assessed and appropriate control measures put in place to execute the works safely.
- Participating in weekly coordination meetings to ensure work is coordinated with the commissioning team during the turnover phase.
- Reviewing and replying to contractor weekly reports and participating in 4-week look-ahead meetings to ensure contractors planned work is fully communicated and coordinated with others.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, with additional professional qualifications in engineering or construction/project management desirable. At least 10 years' experience in the management of large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary construction teams, with experience in digital project delivery desirable. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to promote and ensure exemplary standards of health and safety on large-scale construction projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Additional Professional Qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management desirable.
- Experience in Digital Project Delivery desirable.
- At least 10 years' experience in the management of large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary construction teams.
- Experience in Construction delivery within specialised industrial sectors including Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical & Data-Centres, etc.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
