Key Accountant Role
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, able to drive business performance through effective financial planning and management.
As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to:
* Prepare accurate and timely management accounts.
* Support internal and external audit processes.
* Manage stock and fixed assets effectively.
To excel in this role, you should have:
* A recognised accountancy qualification or wide-ranging relevant experience.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting function.
* Strong understanding of finance principles and practices, including project analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
* Hands-on experience with financial software and excellent Excel skills.
* Experience of liaising with external auditors, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to delegate, train, and mentor staff.
