Role

Reporting directly to the joint Managing Directors, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic leadership team in the development and execution of the strategy to grow the business. This person will be responsible for the people agenda across our business and the development of HR team.

Key responsibilities include:

* Deliver and develop the HR Strategy in line with company goals and objectives across all business locations.
* Work closely with the key business stakeholders to further implement the HR standard across the business.
* Provide leadership and own the ER/IR across the business and drive the relationship with union representatives.
* Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies.
* Consult, advise, influence and partner with leadership on talent strategies and actions to build an engaged and high-performing business.
* Participate in the interview/selection of talent in assigned roles and perform compensation analysis.
* Identify training needs for by site/function and team development/coaching needs.
* Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure the HR strategy is implemented effectively.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate needs to be a resourceful, results-driven individual with a strong sense of urgency who can build trusted relationships and understands the importance of delivering on the people agenda.

* Business degree or relevant equivalent qualification is an advantage.
* A minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading and managing a HR function in a Senior HR Leadership role.
* Proven experience in managing multi sites and multi unions.
* Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and human resources systems.
* Excellent facilitation, problem-solving, coaching and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
* Demonstrate strong leadership and team development.
* Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Good understand of HRIS, payroll oversight and compensation strategies.
* There is a requirement to frequently travel to the across Ireland and the UK as part of this role.
