Overview
The Software Engineer in BD’s Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) team helps build and maintain a middleware platform that connects medical devices with hospital systems, supporting advanced diagnostic capabilities. Working in an Agile environment, you’ll contribute across the full software development lifecycle—designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, WPF and SQL Server. This role requires strong communication, a proactive problem-solving approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare technology.

Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Product Owners and partners to determine estimation, define project scope, and establish timelines.
* Actively contribute to coding and development tasks.
* Address complex technical challenges and resolve issues effectively.
* Keep all user documentation current and detailed.
* Stay informed about the latest trends in software development and share learnings with the team; explore and adopt new technologies where applicable.
* Communicate with non-technical collaborators, translating technical concepts into understandable terms and providing regular project updates.
About You
* Strong technical expertise with 3–5+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, WPF and the .NET Framework.
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
* Experience writing unit/integration tests and a development approach that prioritizes testing.
* Experience with source control systems such as Azure DevOps and Git.
* Ability to operate in multi-environment, multi-location teams across geographical locations.
* Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Salary Information
Salary range: €43,300.00 - €73,600.00 EUR Annual
