Site Financial Controller Glasnevin, Dublin Our Client Our client is a specialist manufacturer and global market leader, with staffing at the heart of their ongoing growth and success, currently looking to recruit a Site Financial Controller to join their talented team. The role: Based on site in Glasnevin, you will be reporting to the Regional Finance Director UK & Ireland and at the same time will have a close working relationship and dotted line to the Site MD. In this role and working as a business partner to the Site MD and wider management team, you will ensure appropriate financial controls are being adhered to, challenging where deemed necessary and ensure all have a good understanding of the P&L, Balance Sheet, performance and margin. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure a robust financial control and ensure that the site complies with Accounting Policies and Standards Preparation of the site monthly control file and trial balances to ensure no financial risk to the business. Analysis of production costs, material variances. Ensure that standard costs are maintained and implemented across the product range in the manufacturing site. Drive site Gross margin and Non-productive spend initiatives. Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets in line with the published timetable. Preparing and submitting of CAPEX proposals and follow up on actual spend v authorised. Liaising with warehouse team to ensure robust blind cycle inventory counts and detailed analyses of results. Management and development of the finance team members. Identify and drive improvements in accounting systems and processes. Key Skills and Experience Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, Chartered) Previous manufacturing and industry experience a pre-requisite Proactive problem solver, with proven ability to manage integration projects and motive employees for the journey ahead Experience of implementing and maintaining strong financial controls. Strong local legislation knowledge and cost accounting process/implementation experience Highly proficient with Microsoft suite. Previous experience & detailed knowledge of ERP systems This is a fast-paced company with lots going on.
