This is a hands-on maintenance manager role derived from the retirement of a long-serving manager who will step back but remain to share knowledge.
Your new role Hands-on with maintenance, leading the team and delegating your resources where they are best of use, you will work with all other teams to ensure the equipment is in the best condition to safely process product.
You will also work with your contractors, ask the purchasing team to restock your critical spares and oversee the preventative maintenance record management.
A varied role in a pleasant working environment What you'll need to succeed Technical maintenance skills are as important as communication and people skills in this role to ensure you nurture relationships and can communicate across all areas of the business effectively.
Hands on maintenance experience and willingness to lead a team and still be hands-on.
What you'll get in return This is a day-based role from 6.45am to 4pm Monday to Friday, working from Saturday to 4 and getting a day off the week after, 40 hours per week, an excellent salary and your overtime is paid at time and a half.
