Post ID: 038729 Post Summary:- This role, at Assistant Librarian 1 scale, will involve Project Management oversight of the Unlocking the Fagel Collection project which includes several work packages, including the conservation, cataloguing, digitisation, research, and outreach elements. Direct line management will include the two project bibliographers and any other project staff appointed into Research Collections (e.g. Fellows, Research Assistants). The Project Manager will also provide non-line management support and guidance for colleagues working on the collection in other Library teams (e.g. in conservation, digitisation). The Library requires a candidate with proven experience in staff and project management, analytics and reporting, as well as in-depth knowledge of bibliographic record creation, including analysis of provenance and material characteristics. Multi-lingual language comprehension, and especially Dutch, will be beneficial. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this role is for overseeing the project management of the 'Unlocking the Fagel Collection' project. This role is not offered on an indefinite basis as once the deliverables of the project have been achieved; the role will cease. This role is also resourced with time-limited external philanthropic funding. This funding is not part of the core funding of the university and will cease in a finite period. Therefore, termination of this contract will occur upon completion of the work in which you are engaged, or if the funding stream is terminated or withdrawn by the funding agency. Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Assistant Librarian 1 payscale (€58,999- €89,647 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
