Process Optimization Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team.
This role involves driving innovation and improvement within manufacturing processes. We have a global presence, serving millions of patients in over 100 countries, and we strive to make a meaningful impact by enhancing patient outcomes and discovering lasting solutions for unmet needs.
* Improve production workflows using engineering principles (e.g., LEAN methods, basic statistics) for continuous process enhancement
* Develop fundamental experiments and tests (including writing and executing protocols) to validate and qualify manufacturing processes; analyze results, provide recommendations, and create reports
* Address and resolve manufacturing and compliance issues (e.g., CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations)
* Create documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) for production to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes
* Establish project plans to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations, utilizing project management tools (e.g., Project Plan, Risk Analysis, etc.)
* Identify opportunities for re-design/design of basic equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve manufacturing processes
* Supervise manufacturing support tasks; instruct technicians on conducting tests; train technicians and provide feedback; and coordinate technician work
