Store Manager- Co. Wexford
Excel Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supermarket Store Manager to lead our client's supermarket store in Co. Wexford. This role offers significant autonomy, a wonderful and hardworking team to support you, and an exceptional package available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operation of the supermarket store,
2. Lead, train, and motivate the store team to deliver excellent customer service and consistently high standards
3. Drive sales, margins, and profitability while maintaining control over costs, waste, and shrink
4. Ensure strong store presentation, merchandising, and product availability
5. Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy
6. Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company policies
Requirements:
7. Proven experience as a Store Manager within convenience, grocery, or forecourt retail
8. Strong leadership and people-management skills with a hands-on approach
9. Excellent commercial awareness with a proven ability to deliver against KPIs and budgets
10. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
11. Passion for customer service and operational excellence
