Key Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist
* Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to children and young people with disabilities.
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide family-centred care.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to support participation in everyday activities.
* Provide support, advice, and training to families, carers, and other professionals.
* Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements for the Senior Occupational Therapist
* BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU).
* CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* A minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience, with at least two years in a relevant clinical area.
* Experience working with children and young people with disabilities.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* Access to own transport and full driving licence desirable.
