The Commercial Supply Chain Assistant will provide administrative and operational support across both commercial and supply chain functions. The role will involve supplier and customer interaction, supporting procurement activities, assisting with sales processing, and ensuring smooth logistical operations. This is an entry-level fixed term contract position, suited to a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational and communication skills who is keen to develop a career in commercial operations or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with distributor setup, approval and related administration.
* Support sales order processing and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
* Liaise with distributors regarding shelf stock, product changes, billing administration, inventory count or other issues as they arise.
* Monitor changes to manufacturing costs, update internal pricing system, review/analyse and prepare commercial reports.
* Complete reports for inventory consumed, invoices etc, as required.
* Support monthly Sales & Operations Planning meeting.
* Provide administrative support for marketing and promotional activities.
* Assist with procurement activities, liaise with vendors on required paperwork along with resolution of queries.
* Support incoming & outgoing inspection of stock received from outsourced manufacturing partners, including generation of the required manufacturing records on the electronic quality management system.
* Complete logistics activities including, packing, booking freight and customs documentation.
* Administration of consumed stock on company inventory system, liaising with distributors on required replenishment stock.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams in Quality, Regulatory, Engineering and Marketing to complete tasks required to support the continued compliance to internal and external standards and regulations.
* Management of tasks assigned from the "Stock Issues Tracker".
* Other related duties as assigned, to ensure workload coverage per business needs.
Key Competencies
* Third Level Degree 7/8 in Business, Supply Chain, Science or Engineering.
* Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritisewith attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with an ability to interact at all levels (internal & external).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a distinct benefit.
* Ability to work off own initiative with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* A varied level of experience in the areas of administration, logistics, order fulfilment, customer service or warehouse management would be an advantage
* Previous experience/knowledge of GMP/QSR regulations/ISO 13485 quality systems would be beneficial.
