About the Role
The Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the production floor during their assigned shift. This role is responsible for ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed. The Operations Supervisor will lead a team of production workers, fostering an environment of teamwork and maintaining efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate production activities on the shift to ensure efficient operations.
* Monitor and manage production schedules to meet demands.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
* Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, providing guidance and support.
* Address and resolve any operational issues that arise during the shift.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and workspace to maintain a safe working environment.
* Report shift performance data, including production output, downtime, and other relevant metrics.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as mechanical and electrical maintenance, to resolve issues and improve processes.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Leaving cert or equivalent; An engineering degree is preferred.
* Proven experience in a production environment, ideally in the waste, quarry industry.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
* Strong understanding of production processes and safety regulations.
Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proficient in basic computer skills and production management software.
Working Conditions
* Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
