Part-Time Financial Controller Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to take ownership of our company's financial operations on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience using SAGE software or a similar ERP system.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all financial aspects of the business, ensuring robust financial controls and delivering key reports.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, P&L, full analysis, and board commentary.
* Organise, attend, report at, and minute quarterly board meetings.
* Oversee bank management, including loan applications and liaising with account managers.
* Management of a multi-currency environment, including forecasts and cashflows.
* Oversight of the debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Managing cut-off procedures for all sales and purchase transactions.
* Project accounting, ensuring financial oversight of company initiatives.
* Lead the annual budgeting process.
* Develop and implement KPIs to track key financial metrics and P&L performance.
* Preparation and ongoing management of cash flow forecasts.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience using SAGE software or a similar ERP system.
* Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
* Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
* High attention to detail and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
