Job Description Applications are invited for the above full-time permanent position in Palmerstown, Dublin 20. The Organisation Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation providing comprehensive community-based services to people with intellectual disabilities in the West Dublin area. We support people with a wide range of support needs across residential settings, day services, supported independent living, job advocacy and vocational training. Purpose of the Post Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of Stewarts Care. The role involves regular engagement with the HSE and other external stakeholders, covering financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and controls. The post holder will lead the finance team, support staff development, foster collaboration, and drive high performance aligned with organisational goals. Role Requirements Professional accounting qualification (ACCA or ACA) Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, including SORP, with ability to interpret and present financial data Experience in a similar finance role, ideally in healthcare or non-profit Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organisational ability Experience managing projects, meeting deadlines, and working independently Confident communicator, able to present to internal and external stakeholders Experience leading or mentoring finance staff Collaborative team player committed to Stewarts Care's mission Benefits Family & Lifestyle: 35-Hour Work Week, Flexible Working Arrangements, Enhanced Parental Leave Benefits, Cycle to Work Scheme.
