Overview
CREGG are seeking candidates for this Grants Advisor position with our client based in Cork.
The Grant Advisor's day-to-day duties will include working with the technical sales team, coordinating schedules and arranging assessments.
As the first point of contact for the Company, a history with phone and email correspondence is key.
Applicants for this position will need exceptional organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound phone calls from homeowners and industry professionals.
Advise customers on how to begin their home energy upgrade journey.
Explain available grants, eligibility criteria, and the application process in a clear and accessible way.
Work closely with industry professionals such as BER assessors, builders, architects, etc.
Guide callers on next steps, including internal handovers to relevant teams.
Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers feel informed and supported.
Accurately log customer information and outcomes in internal systems.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Stay up to date with changes to grants, energy upgrade offerings, and internal processes.
Requirements
Strong communication and phone-based customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical or process-driven information in simple terms.
Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries.
Confident using CRM systems or internal databases (training provided).
Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or home energy efficiency (desirable).
Previous experience in customer service, advisory, call handling, or similar roles is an advantage.
