Our organization seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee services, budgets and health & safety standards in a public body based in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning, security and maintenance services, as well as monitoring and managing budgets and costs.

Health and safety standards must be met, and the selected individual will also direct staff and oversee building upkeep and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in business operations, project management and building maintenance, along with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

This is a fixed-term role on a salary scale starting at approximately €58,000 per year.

* Service Management: Manage daily operational services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.
* Budget Management: Oversee financial resources, monitor expenses, and make cost-effective decisions.
* Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
* Building Maintenance: Coordinate physical workplace maintenance and upkeep.
* Space Planning: Maximize building space utilization.
* Project Management: Develop, implement, and manage projects including sourcing and tendering for services.
* Coordination: Balance physical workplace needs with organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a combination of technical and interpersonal skills, with experience in facilities management, business operations, and project management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and relevant work experience are preferred.
