This graduate sales program is designed to foster the next generation of sales leaders and managers. Throughout your journey, you will develop a deep understanding of business operations, including warehouse management, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT software, and marketing.
Phase 1: Learning and Development (First 6 months)
* Gain hands-on experience with our vast product range and learn about different manufacturers and the electrical distribution industry.
* Become proficient in customer relationship-building, deal-making, and advising customers face-to-face over the trade counter.
* Participate in a formal sales training course, staying overnight alongside other Graduate Trainees from across the company.
* Complete workbook assessments to reinforce your learning and development.
Phase 2: Account Management and Business Development (6-12 months)
* Transition to internal sales account management, engaging with business customers over the phone.
* Learn business development strategies and how to target and win new trading accounts.
Phase 3: Leadership and Entrepreneurship (12 months and beyond)
* Progress to a diverse business-to-business field sales management position, with increased earning potential and bigger bonuses.
* Travel locally in your company car, meeting clients, discussing projects, and arranging social activities.
* Work towards running your own business within the group, learning about staff management, purchasing, profit and loss, etc.
