Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor located in Kilkenny. The selected candidate will have an option from working in our office / from home or a mixture of both. The role involves managing day-to-day responsibilities such as cost management, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost planning, and reporting. The Chartered Quantity Surveyor will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects meeting budgetary, timeline, and quality objectives. The selected candidate will also ensure compliance with best practices and contribute effectively to project risk management strategies.
Qualifications
* Must be a member of SCSI or RICS
* Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management
* Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost planning
* Ability to perform accurate and timely Cost Reporting
* Strong understanding of project risk mitigation measures and client requirement delivery
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
* Membership or potential for membership of a relevant professional body such as RICS or SCSI
* Attention to detail, excellent organizational, and communication skills
* Proficiency with relevant software tools for quantity surveying
