We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Meaghers Pharmacy teams in Castletymon and Glenview, Dublin 24.
The new Pharmacy Technician will enjoy working with consistent teams of experienced Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, our Superintendent Pharmacist, and other Support Staff. They will have the opportunity to work within a positive, supportive environment with excellent personal development opportunities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities for Dispensary Technicians:
1. Dispensing and preparing prescriptions.
2. Efficient stock control.
3. Prescription control and managing paperwork.
4. End of month claim paperwork.
5. Over-the-counter sales, delivering expert advice, and customer service.
6. MDS blister packing.
7. Dispensary housekeeping.
Skills and Experience for the role:
* Hold an approved Pharmacy Technician qualification.
* Minimum of 1 year's experience working in a Community Pharmacy in Ireland, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
* Experience with Mc Lernons MPS.
* Experience with MDS.
* Fluency in English.
* Authorized to work in Ireland.
* Strong product and dispensary process knowledge.
* Highly personable, a team player, motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.
