Project Manager Role
Join our leading Building Contractors in Laois and take on the challenge of managing residential projects from start to finish.
As a skilled Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
You will work closely with clients, consultants, and design teams to communicate progress, address issues, and maintain strong relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing project progress and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations;
* Overseeing procurement and materials management to ensure timely availability and compliance with specifications;
* Directing and supervising Site Engineers and Site Managers to ensure smooth workflow and project coordination;
* Identifying and resolving construction-related challenges and implementing solutions effectively;
* Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in line with Irish construction regulations.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* A relevant construction or engineering qualification;
* Main contracting experience;
* Previous experience working on residential development construction projects;
* The ability to work on your own initiative;
* Self-motivation and a hardworking attitude;
* Strong team building skills;
* Analytical and decision-making skills;
* Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry;
* Strong budgeting and financial management skills;
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
