Plant Operations Manager
The Plant Operations Manager will oversee the entire plant fleet, ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules, monitoring operating costs, and managing plant hire and subcontractor relationships. The successful candidate will possess a recognised technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 5-10+ years of experience in plant management.
* Oversight of the entire plant fleet including acquisition deployment maintenance inspection repair and disposal.
* Development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise reliability.
* Ensuring compliance with legislative health and safety environmental regulations.
* Collaboration with Site Managers and Project Managers to plan plant requirements and monitor utilisation rates.
* Monitoring operating costs and driving efficiencies through optimisation negotiation and benchmarking.
* Management of plant hire and subcontractor relationships reviewing tenders and negotiating rates.
