Leading a Senior Project Manager role, you will oversee the lifecycle of various developments across Ireland and the UK.
Job Responsibilities:
* Project Oversight:
o Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk management plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
o Liaise with stakeholders to achieve delivery milestones.
* Procurement & Contract Administration:
o Lead the procurement process for contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
o Apply cost planning expertise in tendering, contract negotiations, and change control.
o Administer contracts ensuring payment schedules, claims, and variations are managed effectively.
* Regulatory Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with Building Control Regulations, including energy performance, fire safety, structural integrity, and accessibility standards.
o Liaise with Approved Inspectors, Building Control Authorities, and design consultants.
* Team Leadership & Quality Assurance:
o Promote high standards of quality, health, and safety on all projects.
o Enforce compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
* Reporting & Governance:
o Produce reports on project progress, cost tracking, risk, and milestones.
o Maintain thorough project documentation in line with governance and compliance standards.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Degree-qualified background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years' project management experience in construction and property development is required. Chartered or working towards professional chartership (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, MCIArb or equivalent) is highly desirable. You must have proven expertise in procurement, cost control, contract administration, and contractor management. In-depth knowledge of Building Control requirements across both Ireland and the UK is essential. Proficiency in MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or Primavera is necessary. Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms is advantageous.
