Job Title:BCAR & ISO Coordinator
Location: Model Farm Road, Cork
Reports To: Head of Quality, BCAR & Sustainability
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Package: €40,000-€45,000 DOE + benefits
Job Summary
The BC(A)R & ISO Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with Building Control (Amendment) Regulations [BC(A)R] and managing ISO standards across Vision's office and project sites. The role supports site management teams in achieving BCMS validation, coordinates with certifiers, oversees ISO processes, and contributes to the company's ongoing commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.
Key Activities
BC(A)R Coordination
* Coordinate with Assigned and Ancillary Certifiers at all stages (Pre-Commencement, Construction, Completion)
* Manage submission of notices, inspection plans, trackers, and certification documentation
* Ensure inspection records, site diaries, photos, and product certificates are maintained and provided for BCMS validation
* Oversee completion and submission of Ancillary Certificates and the Certificate of Compliance on Completion
ISO Coordination (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety)
* Ensure ISO compliance across offices and sites, preparing for external audits
* Conduct internal QEHS and CDE audits, manage registers, and report findings
* Support meetings, surveys, archiving, handover templates, and CSRD data collection
Tendering & Prequalification
* Complete BC(A)R-related questionnaires for tenders and prequalification's
Support for Further ISO Certifications
* Contribute to achieving additional certifications including ISO Cyber Security), ISO Energy Management), and ISO BIM)
Education and Experience
* Degree in Business, Quality, Environmental, Project Management, Construction, or other relevant discipline
* Previous experience coordinating BC(A)R compliance within the construction industry (desirable)
* Strong understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 essential; exposure to 27001/50001/19650 (desirable)
* Proven ability to coordinate with certifiers, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Experience preparing for and supporting external ISO audits
* Proficiency in digital platforms and software including:
– Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– SharePoint / OneDrive
– Procore
– Smartsheet
