Job Description:

As a senior nurse leader, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented effectively across all levels of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Director of Nursing in ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented and practiced at all levels of staff.
\
2. Provide strategic and clinical leadership and direction for nursing and related services, resulting in effective, efficient, quality-assured, and resident-centered care.
\
3. Manage all clinical documentation within the care home and maintain Epicare records up-to-date.
\
4. Perform spot checks and internal audits of documentation, followed by follow-up actions as needed.
\
5. Drive an environment of continuous improvement and best practice in the home.
\
6. Have detailed knowledge of all residents and be able to respond or meet with regulatory bodies on behalf of the Director of Nursing.
\
7. Monitor and review complaints and incidents, prepare action plans, and implement changes as required.
\
8. Undertake the role and responsibilities of the Person-in-Charge in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
